There are four agricultural universities altogether in Tamilnadu and the one in Coimbatore is the head of all the remaining. This is also one of the finest institutions in South Asia. This adds pride to the city. First it was in Chennai, later shifted to Coimbatore as a college and finally renowned to be a great university.
